YouTuber Karl Edward Rice’s wife files a writ in Delhi HC seeking quashing of blacklisting order against him

Karl Edward who is well known as Karl Rock, in one of his Youtube V-log which was uploaded about eight months ago from the present day, claimed that when he reached the airport after coming back from Dubai was informed by the authorities that he has been barred by Indian government and his visa has been blocked, thus cannot return to India.

Further, while Union Ministry has claimed that the reason behind restricting Karl’s visa was him carrying Business in India while holding a Tourist Visa, which is a violation of the terms and conditions of the issuance of the Visa.

Since, then Karl Rice and his alleged wife, Manisha Mallik who hails from Harayana, have knocked all doors from Union Ministry to New-Zeeland’s PM and have now finally reached Delhi High Court’s Door, and filed a plea for lifting the Ban and for their reunite.

In the plea filed by Advocate Fuzail Ahmed Ayyubi, stated and challenged that “the blacklisting of Karl Rice, is unreasonable and arbitrary, the husband of the petitioner, who has been blacklisted from entering Indian Territory has eventually depriving him to unite with his family and his wife’s Fundamental Right under Article 21 that is right to life and dignity is being infringed.”

Further, in the plea wife stated that her husband has only been informed about the blacklisting verbally and no official communication has been made yet which is leading to the arbitrary use of power by the official and violation of Article 19 of Indian constitution.

Delhi High Court on Friday, July 16, 2021, with the single bench of Justice Rekha Pali while accepting the plea application filed by Manisha Mallik, Wife of Youtuber has sought a response from the Centre government Bureau of Immigration, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Foreign Regional Registration Office, Delhi. And has set the hearing for the matter on 23rd September 2021, which would further assist in investigating the case.
