NIRF Rankings 2022: Symbiosis Pune makes a big surprise

Out of 23 National Law Universities, only 12 featured in the top 30 law schools this year. The National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore has topped the list of National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2022) of law schools in India, followed by National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi).
On third in the list is Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Pune leaving NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad and West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata in fourth and fifth. Further, eight more National law schools have been ranked in the top 30 law schools in India.
What caught everyone’s attention was Symbiosis law school ranking at 3rd position in the list from being ranked as 9th in the year of 2021 and Siksha `O` Anusandhan in Bhubaneshwar at 9th position climbing up the ladder in the list.
100 law colleges had participated in the rankings this year and The rankings this year were judged on the following factors: Teaching, Learning & Resources, Research and Professional Practice, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach and Inclusivity, Perception.
