On the first day of the monsoon session of the parliament, a debate on the NEET UG paper leak was held.

Several questions were asked by the leader of the opposition, Rahul Gandhi and the Samajwadi Party asked questions over the matter to the education minister, Dharmendra Pradhan.

The questions were asked during the ‘question hour’

Rahul Gandhi:-   Rahul Gandhi said that there is a very serious problem in the examination system and the same is not just related to the NEET examination but other major examinations.

He also raised the concerns of the students who were affected by the paper and it is believed by them that the education system can be bought by a rich person.

Akhilesh Yadav:- The Samajwadi Party MP informed that there are certain centers where more than 2000 students have passed.

Dharmendra Pradhan: – the education minister responded to the questions by saying that right now the case is being heard by the SC. He also said that there has been no paper leak case in the last 7 years, except for the recent paper leak issue in Patna.

He also appreciated the steps taken by the NTA to ensure a free and fair examination.
