Urgent listing of her plea sought by Mahua Moitra

The urgent listing of the petition that was filed, was sought by Mahua Moitra in the SC, whereby she had challenged her expulsion from the Lok Sabha.
The mentioning of the petition was done by senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi before the CJI DY Chandrachud, whereby he sought the listing of the matter on Tuesday or Friday.
CJI had asked Abhishek Manu Singhvi to send an email request and thereby agreed to investigate the matter of listing.
Earlier in the day, Senior Advocate Singhvi had mentioned the same issue before Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, but the same was refuted and he was asked to approach the Chief Justice of India.
The issue is about the expulsion of Mahua Moitra from the Lok Sabha that took place on 8th December 2023. It happened based on the report of the Ethics Committee over the Cash for query complaint. It was alleged that she had shared her login credentials of the Lok Sabha MP with some unauthorized people.
