The Society For Constitutional Law Discussion (TSCLD) invites applications for 5 Core Team Member positions. Students from the 1st to 5th year of law school are welcome to apply. 1st-year students will need to complete a one-month internship as a Content Writer before joining the team.

About The Society For Constitutional Law Discussion

In order to develop the culture of legal writing and discussion, some of the students of the Chanakya National Law University, Patna of Batch 2018-2023 came up with the idea of starting The Society For Constitutional Law Discussion. This Society vides its blog and Journal (JCS) will serve as a brilliant platform for the students to engage in constitutional law discussions and writing with their peer group. It was also ranked as one of the best constitutional law blogs by Feedspot of 2024.

About the Opportunities

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Content Development:
   1. Draft, edit, and curate high-quality articles, research pieces, and social media posts focused on constitutional law.
   2. Create engaging scripts and narratives for online events and videos.
   3. Manage and innovate content strategies to grow TSCLD’s digital presence.
2. Research and Analysis:
   1. Conduct in-depth legal research on contemporary constitutional challenges.
   2. Assist in the development of academic papers, policy recommendations, and seminar materials.
   3. Monitor recent legal developments, landmark cases, and legislative updates to ensure relevance in TSCLD’s work.
3. Event Management:
   1. Plan and organise seminars, webinars, and workshops, ensuring smooth execution.
   2. Liaise with guest speakers, panellists, and participants to maintain professional coordination.
   3. Develop promotional materials and handle logistics for both online and offline events.
4. Outreach and Networking:
   1. Build relationships with law schools, student organisations, academicians, and professionals to expand TSCLD’s reach.
   2. Represent TSCLD in legal forums and collaborative initiatives.
   3. Foster collaborations with other organisations for joint projects and events.
5. Strategic Planning and Development:
   1. Contribute innovative ideas to improve TSCLD’s visibility and influence.
   2. Develop strategies for sustainable growth and improved engagement on all platforms.
   3. Assist in drafting grant proposals and fundraising initiatives.
6. Team Collaboration:
   1. Work closely with other team members to meet organizational goals.
   2. Take initiative in brainstorming and executing new projects.
   3. Provide constructive feedback on team efforts and projects.

Stipend

Performance-based revenue-sharing model proportionate to the total organizational revenue.

• Note: 1st-year students will first intern as Content Writers for one month before final selection.
