West Bengal Bar Council declares 1st July as a ‘black day’ against the implementation of new criminal laws

The West Bengal Bar Council has declared that 1st July will be a black day as a protest against the new criminal laws which are to be implemented from the 1st of July 2024.

The members of the Bar Council have unanimously resolved this protest against the three criminal laws, across West Bengal and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

They will be abstaining from all kinds of judicial work on that day to organize the rallies.
