The response of ED to AAP leader Sanjay Singh has been sought by the SC

On Monday, the SC had sought the response from the Enforcement Directorate’s response to Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh.
The bench comprised of Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Dutta had issued notice in the special leave petition that was filed by Sanjay Singh which was filed against the ruling that the Delhi high court had denied bail to him.
The arrest as well as the remand that was issued by the court, was challenged by Sanjay Singh, which was dismissed by Justice Sharma last year.
Consequently, Singh moved to the SC where he challenged the arrest and the petition is still pending.
The latest plea which has been filed by Sanjay Singh, was for seeking bail in the case of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act had been directed to tag with the earlier special leave petition.
The petitions have been scheduled to be heard on the 5th March.
