SC confirms ACP, higher qualifications increments, includes distance education titles.

The Supreme Court has confirmed that court officials who receive annual career procedures (ACP) are also entitled to further additions to gain higher qualifications, such as LL.M. This decision clarifies previous arguments against such claims.
The court judgment based on the January 2024 judgment states that the benefits do not affect the right to increments for higher qualifications. The court rejected the claim that the permission of both benefits would lead to unfair enrichment.
The decision emphasizes that the purpose of the act is to prevent stagnation, while increments for higher qualifications are aimed to increase the judicial performance. The court has instructed that these additions should also apply to the titles obtained by distance education.
