HC seeks the status of the functioning of display boards from district judges

A PIL was filed by Mukul Sharma, which sought directions to be given to the state as well as the central governments for making the display boards in the district courts functional.
An order was given by the Delhi HC, whereby it directed the district judges to file the status report regarding the functioning of the display boards.
It was ordered by the court that the filing of the reports must be done within 4 weeks.
The division bench which was comprised of Chief Justice Manmohan and Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora also sought a reply from the government of Delhi as well as the central government on the issue.
It was mentioned in the plea of the advocate Mukul Sharma that the non-functioning of the display boards is causing great inconvenience to the advocates.
