Bombay HC overlooks the outcry over the age of the accused in the Pune Porsche accident case

Last Updated on June 27, 2024 by News Desk

The Bombay HC chose to ignore the public outcry regarding the age of the accused in the Pune Porsche accident case and instead focused on the actions that led to the incident.

The court emphasized the assessment of the individual’s behavior and state of mind when the incident took place.

The court said that maintaining leniency only based on the age of a person would undermine the motive with which penalties have been put in place in the legal system.
