Arvind Kejriwal sent to judicial custody by Delhi court till 15th April

A Delhi court has sent the Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal to judicial custody, till 15th April concerning the Delhi excise policy case.

The direction was passed by the special Rousse Avenue Court special judge, Kaveri Baweja

An application was moved by the lawyers of Arvind Kejriwal thereby requesting to allow him, three books in the jail.- Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, and How Prime Ministers Decide along with the permission of a special diet and a religious locket.

Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21, accused of being the main figure in a money laundering case. His plea for interim protection was rejected by the Delhi High Court, leading to his arrest. Initially remanded to ED custody until March 28 by Judge Baweja on March 22, his custody was later extended. Today, the ED custody ended, and Kejriwal was brought before the court by the ED.
