15 suits in Krishna Janmabhoomi Case Clubbed by Allahabad HC

A direction was passed by the Allahabad HC for the consolidation of 15 suits that have been filed regarding the Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Masjid Dispute.
The order was passed by Justice Mayank Kumar Jain, after the filing of an application under order 6-A of the CPC.
The counsel of the plaintiff had contended that the matter was initially before the civil judge in Mathura on 25th September 2020, after which it got transferred to the HC.
Subsequently, additional suits of similar nature have been filed. In total 18 suits are pending before the HC for trial, as it was mentioned by the plaintiff.
It was also added by the plaintiff that the consolidation of the suit would save time and expense.
He also prayed that other advocates on behalf of the plaintiff may be allowed to participate in the proceedings of the commission.
After the consideration of the submissions by the plaintiff, the court directed the consolidation of the suits.
The next hearing of the matter will be on 17th January 2024.
