Professor Faizan Mustafa appointed Vice-chancellor of Chanakya National Law University, Patna

Prof Faizan Mustafa, a member of the law faculty at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has been named the vice chancellor of Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) in Patna. This appointment was made based on the recommendation of the search committee led by former Chief Justice of India, Dipak Misra.
Prior to his new role, Prof Mustafa had spent ten years as the vice-chancellor of the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) before returning to AMU. He has also served in various capacities at AMU, including as dean and registrar.
Prof Mustafa’s achievements include receiving the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fulbright Fellowship and being honoured with the SAARC’s ‘Best Law Teacher Award’ in 2014. He has delivered lectures in numerous countries around the world and manages a popular YouTube channel called Legal Awareness WebSeries.
Justice (retd) Mridula Mishra, the current vice-chancellor of CNLU, congratulated Prof Mustafa on his appointment to the university, which was established in 2006.
